The Eluvio Content Fabric is capable of delivering high quality (4K) live and on-demand streaming video across the globe with ultra-low latency. If during a live event you are experiencing buffering issues where your live video is failing to load properly and keeps stalling, it's most likely because of your device hardware specifications.
In order to ensure the highest-quality and smoothest video experience, make sure that your device possesses GPU decoders. The lack of GPUs in your device or GPUs that can't handle 70fps, resulting in the use of CPUs, will affect the processing of the video source, regardless of your Internet bandwidth. Eluvio's Content Fabric is built to provide the highest-quality live video around the world which is why end-users should prioritize the use of GPU decoders that can handle processing of 70 fps or more.
If your device does not possess the above hardware specifications, we recommend you manually select the resolution of the livestream to 720 when opening the video player. Simply, click the gear icon on the bottom right corner of the player, click the Quality option and select 1280x720 (4.5Mbps).
If you are streaming your live event using a TV browser, we highly recommend downloading the Eluvio Media Wallet TV App. Please check the list of supported TV devices that support it. If your TV is not supported, we recommend switching to a desktop, laptop or mobile device and use the casting option to stream from your TV.
If you are still encountering buffering issues after manually setting the resolution, please contact us by submitting a customer support ticket with your player's troubleshooting info. To get your troubleshooting info simply click the gear icon inside the video player, click the Quality option and then click Copy Debug Info button. Please make sure to paste the entire blob of data into your customer ticket in order to obtain the best and fastest solution.
